At Beaulieu Preparatory, our Netball has grown from strength to strength. We currently have two teams per age group - Grade two to Grade seven - but, in some age groups, we have the potential to field three teams.
Coaching begins in Grade two and Grade three. They have the opportunity to apply their skills in mini matches on a Friday during the netball season.
When the girls reach Grade four, they begin playing at a more competitive level.
Our season runs for two months during May and June, which consists of two practices a week and one match day. Included in the season are a number of festivals which take place on Saturday mornings. This allows the girls to enjoy netball in a socially interactive environment with the benefit of more game time.
At Beaulieu Preparatory we are part of a league of sixteen schools, which play weekly matches during the first and third term.
We currently have two senior and two junior teams that have performed outstandingly over the past two seasons. Our coaches are passionate about the sport and this has filtered through to all the girls involved.
Every year we participate in festivals, where all sixteen schools attend. This always proves to be a day filled with good competition and sportsmanship. Beaulieu is a force to be reckoned with in softball.
