JP Overview

Our pupils enter the world of 'Big School' with some sense of excitement and trepidation and we have the opportunity to create well-rounded, resilient and independent young people. Our teachers encourage and instil a positive sense of self-belief within each of their pupils and with the thought of 'knowing that you can do anything, the world becomes your oyster'.

Our academic programmes foster and develop the children's Literacy and Mathematical skills and equip them for our Senior Preparatory Phase. We want our pupils to be able to make sense of their learning, apply their knowledge and have an informed opinion on topics of interest.
We are aware that not all children develop and learn at the same pace, and so internal and external support structures exist to help facilitate and support areas of difficulty.

Children learn optimally when they are playing, where there is no fear and are encouraged to discover and collaborate with their friends. This is what we strive for at K.P.S.
